Common questions

How many days do you need for a Georgia trip?

A week is enough to combine Tbilisi, Mtskheta, the Kakheti wine region and a day in the Caucasus. Ten days to two weeks lets you add Svaneti, Batumi and the Black Sea without rushing. We have ready-made itineraries for every trip length.

Should I rent a car for an itinerary in Georgia?

For full flexibility yes, especially for the Caucasus mountains and the wine villages. The mountain roads are demanding, so many choose a private driver for the day or organised transfers. Between the cities there are cheap marshrutkas too. Each itinerary notes the recommended option.

When is the best time for a Georgia itinerary?

Late spring to early summer (May to June) and autumn (September to October, the grape harvest) are the loveliest. Summer is pleasant in the mountains and hot in the valleys, and winter suits skiing in Gudauri but closes some mountain passes.

What does each ready-made itinerary include?

Every itinerary is built day by day with recommended places, travel times, areas to stay, cost estimates and on-the-ground tips for driving and mountain passes, all in English.
